Mark your calendars. The Stonecroft HOA meeting is scheduled for August 30th at the Kisker Road Library. The meeting will begin at 7 pm and end at 8:30 pm.
Earlier this year, seven dead trees were taken down and removed from common ground along Kisker Road. These trees posed a risk to the homes adjacent to the common ground as well as the subdivision fence along Kisker Road. The work was completed by TBS Trees. Total cost for removal of the trees was $3,850.
As a reminder, Article 9, Section 14 of the Stonecroft Indentures states that no trucks (other than pick-up trucks not exceeding 3/4 ton) or commercial vehicles, boats, motorcycles, campers, house trailers, boat trailers or trailers of any other description shall be permitted to be parked or stored on any Lot unless they are parked or stored in an enclosed garage or some other enclosure (open or otherwise) approved by the Architectural Control Committee, except only during periods of approved construction on the Lot. Further, no motor vehicle or equipment shall be repaired or otherwise serviced in front of or adjacent to any residence in the Subdivision. Fines will be assessed to Lots in violation of this restriction.
As a reminder, Article 10, Section 14 of the Stonecroft Indentures states that no trash, garbage, rubbish, refuse, debris, trash cans or trash receptacles of any type shall be stored in the open on any Lot, but shall be kept secured within the improvements located on each Lot; provided, however, after sunrise on any day designated for trash pick-up, trash, garbage, rubbish, refuse and debris secured within appropriate trash cans or receptacles may be placed at the street curbing for pick-up; and, provided, further, that trash cans or receptacles shall be removed and secured within the improvements on each Lot prior to sundown of the same day. The next Board meeting will be held on May 8th at the Kisker Road Library. All Board meetings are open to all Stonecroft HOA members.
A number of Stonecroft residents brought forward a proposal to the quarterly board meeting(s) with a recommendation to the board to select a single refuse company. There were several valid rationales presented to the board including, but not limited to the following:
The board would like to personally thank Tory Gambino who led this effort. With the assistance from homeowners, we can accomplish a lot to help keep our subdivision one of the premier neighborhoods in St. Charles. After reviewing the opinion from Paul Harris, the new attorney, the Board asked to look into the subdivision’s right to continue to maintain and insure the Kisker Road fence. The Board agreed it has the right to continue to maintain the fence. Questions around one particular lot remain. The paperwork in this matter is being tracked down and will be discussed at a later date. The Board voted unanimously to reinsure the fence and continue its maintenance as it has for the last 10 + years. We are pleased to have finally arrived at an appropriate and common-sense resolution.
We have received a number of complaints from homeowners regarding vehicles ignoring stop signs in the subdivision. This is certainly a concern for homeowners walking and jogging as well as kids playing in the neighborhood. We have contacted the St. Charles County Police Department to request additional traffic enforcement. If you witness traffic violations, please contact the St. Charles County Police Department at 636-949-3000 or [email protected].
